Assalamualaikum, my sharing today is about ihsan.
What is ihsan?
The surah Saba verse 11 above is the dalil about ihsan.
In the verse, Allah told Daud a.s. to work on the coat of mail. "Qoddir fis- Sard"which means "make sure every single link in the chain that you make is perfectly calculated". First of all, Allah in the verse, Allah highlighted specifics that when you do your job, do it perfectly.
Ihsan is the highest level we can reach in our religion. The meaning of Ihsan given to the word by the Prophet when he said
“al-Ihsan is to worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you do not achieve this state of devotion, then (take it for granted that) Allah sees you” (Sahih Bukhari, 1997: Hadith 47 Vol. 1).
Islam encourages the believer to do ihsan towards all things such as ihsan in worship, with humans, with animals and also with the environment. For instance, the believer should do good to other creatures and do not harm animals and the environment. Through this nature of benevolence, the believer will always be afraid to do deeds forbidden by Allah. In fact, believers will always do good and maintain good behavior. Through the belief that Allah always sees the deeds done, Muslims will perform worship perfectly and sincerely as well as be good in terms of morality and ethics.
