KINDNESS ✨

Assalamualaikum,
My sharing today is about kindness.
Do you ever watch the video above?
This video shows how kindness can make people around us happy. Islam also encourages us to be kind for all mankind, animals and the environment. Being kind is so easy and simple as long as we are sincere. Sometimes a little help from us can change someone else's world. When we are kind, we can create a selfless and caring society. Each of us needs help from others in order to survive. Alhamdulillah, maybe now we live a decent life, but we don’t know what will happen in the future right? Ali ibn Abi Talib reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him said,
"Verily, Allah is kind and he loves kindness. He grants reward for kindness what is not given for harshness."

IHSAN

Assalamualaikum, my sharing today is about ihsan.
What is ihsan?
The surah Saba verse 11 above is the dalil about ihsan.
In the verse, Allah told Daud a.s. to work on the coat of mail. "Qoddir fis- Sard"which means "make sure every single link in the chain that you make is perfectly calculated". First of all, Allah in the verse, Allah highlighted specifics that when you do your job, do it perfectly.
Ihsan is the highest level we can reach in our religion. The meaning of Ihsan given to the word by the Prophet when he said
“al-Ihsan is to worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you do not achieve this state of devotion, then (take it for granted that) Allah sees you” (Sahih Bukhari, 1997: Hadith 47 Vol. 1).

Islam encourages the believer to do ihsan towards all things such as ihsan in worship, with humans, with animals and also with the environment. For instance, the believer should do good to other creatures and do not harm animals and the environment. Through this nature of benevolence, the believer will always be afraid to do deeds forbidden by Allah. In fact, believers will always do good and maintain good behavior. Through the belief that Allah always sees the deeds done, Muslims will perform worship perfectly and sincerely as well as be good in terms of morality and ethics.

The Pillars of Iman Part II

Assalamualaikum, This are the continious from entry "The Pillars of Iman Part I".

4. Belief in Messengers
Muslims should believe in all the messengers sent by Allah. There are many messengers that have been sent by Allah. However, there are messengers whose names are not mentioned in the Qur'an and there are 25 messengers whose names are mentioned in the Qur'an. Allah has sent prophets and messengers to every nation throughout the history of mankind. Some prophets and messengers have been given a higher status than others. Five envoys were specifically given the special title Messengers of Strong Will (Ulul Azmi). Allah chose prophets and messengers as the best examples for their nation. Allah endowed them with knowledge, understanding, guidance, miracles, honor and protection from sin.

5. Belief in Day of Judgment
Every Muslim must believe in the day of judgment. On that day, all people will be judged according to their deeds. Each deeds will be weighed which is heavier whether it is a good deeds or a bad deeds. If good deeds are heavier, then they will be admitted to heaven, and if bad deeds are heavier they will be admitted to hell. Therefore, we should always do the things that God has commanded, and abandon his prohibitions.

6. Belief in Belief Doom & Divine Decree (Qada & Qadr)
Qada and qadar mean believing that all the good and bad destiny that befalls human beings have been arranged with certain limits.Everything that happens on this earth is the decree of Allah SWT, including all things good or bad, life or death, all are proof of His greatness. Believe wholeheartedly that Allah has the will, determination, decision over all His creatures is inherent from believing in qada and qadar. Qada means the law, decree, and will of God. Everything that happens comes from Allah SWT, the owner of life. Before the process of life, God has written down everything that will happen. Both are about good, bad and also about life or death. Qadar defined as a provision or certainty from Allah. While in terms, qadar means a definite determination and has been determined by Allah SWT. Both what has happened, is happening, and what will happen.

Journey of Love to Allah ❤

Assalamualaikum,

My sharing today is about the journey of love to Allah. Actually this is the topic from the talk that I joined live via YouTube. This talk was delivered by Dr. Ali Albarghouthi. Who is Dr. Ali Albarghouthi? He is Khateeb, Shaykh, Speaker, and an instructor at Khalid Bin Al-Walid Mosque.

This talk is all about love, do you ever ask yourself what kind of love that you really want in your life? Love from your parents? Love from your friends? Or love from Allah? Love from whom is enough for you? Of course we will answer the love from Allah. But, what is it that we do in our life that naturally shows we love Allah? Let us jump to another question. What will we do when we love someone? Of course we will try to be close to them and try to make them happy. That is the sign that demonstrates our love.

Our life is based on the emotion of love and hate . We want to be close to the thing that we love and run away with the thing that we hate. Love is the most strong base emotion that we have. All of us are looking for love, Allah embedded the love in us. Do you know why Allah embedded love in our heart? This is because Allah created this universe out of love and Allah put a lot of things and beauty around and Allah also put the desire to love Allah in our heart. The reason is because Allah wants us to go through this life from the infancy until death and choose Him instead of other things. Allah wants us to choose Him and have Him as the first in our heart because that is the sign of a believer.

Allah sent the Quran as the guidance for us. That is not to burden, restrict or complicate our life but Allah wants to tell us what is best for us and what is harmful because He loves us. Allah wants us to choose Him instead of our desire and forbidden thing. When we can choose Allah instead of other things, by that we discover the love of Allah.

No person in this world can give us everything that we want and can answer all of our questions. There is no one who can fill the gap in our heart except Allah as He can answer all of our questions and give satisfaction. When we look for human's love, we will find out that they are incomplete. Alhamdulillah, if we have someone in our life that we love and they love us back, but they are not enough as sometimes they may love you and sometimes they change. Therefore, before you love someone, love Allah first, whom gives that love to you and makes it possible for you to experience love. Allah is the greatest love.

The Pillars of Iman Part I

Faith (Iman) is when something happens to man, his heart, belief and convictions remain rejecting doubts about the truth. There are six pillars of faith that Muslims must know and believe.

1. Belief in God (Allah s.w.t.)
Muslims believe that there is no God worthy of worship except Allah "lailaha illallah". That is the basis of the faith of every Muslim. The most important teaching of Islam is faith in tawhid. Believing in all the pillars of Iman is part of our faith and worship also it determines the degree of believer whether the person is a true Muslim or not. Tawhid binds all races, colours and humankind as whoever belief with kalimah tayyibah considered as Islam. Every Muslim believes that Allah is the sole creator and omnipotent in the entire universe. God has 99 names that show God’s limitless power.

2. Belief in the Angles
Angels is Allah's creation made from light. They have no free-will and always obey the commandments of God. The purpose Allah created them are for worshipping Him and carrying out His orders. Even we cannot see them, yet we still believe their existence because believing in angels is one of the pillars of faith. Each of them has their own specific task. There are numerous angels but only ten angels are obligatory for us to know.

Jibril: Send revelation to the prophets
Mikail: Delivers sustenance or rezki (رزق)
Ridhwan: The angel of heaven
Malik: The angel of hell
Munkar & Nakir: Questioning the dead in the grave
Raqib & 'Atid: The Honourable Recorders. One writes good deeds while the other writes bad deeds
Israfil: The trumpet blower
Izra'il: The angel of death

3. Belief in God's Revealed Books
As a Muslim, believing in all the books revealed to the messengers is one of the pillars of faith. Allah has told us about some of the names of the holy books in the Quran. There are four most scriptures in Islam which are the Taurah revealed to Musa a.s. in Hebrew language, the Zaboor revealed to Dawood a.s. in Hebrew language, the Injeel revealed to 'Eesaa a.s in Aramaic language and Al-Quran revealed to the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. in Arabic language. In Al- Quran Surah Ali- Imran verse 3, Allah s.w.t says:
"He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel."
And Allah s.w.t. says in Surah Al- Israq verse 55,
"Your Lord knows all who dwell in the heavens and the earth. We have exalted some Prophets over others, and We gave the Psalms to David."
